Tymofiy’s Story

Dream.

One day I found information on Facebook that football lessons would be held for such children at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium. Since my child is very active and athletic, I really wanted to be part of this project. We have never been to this stadium, and now we have the opportunity to train there.

Tymofiy was very happy and curious to see what the Olimpiyskiy Stadium looked like inside and out.

Exhange.

We really remember the match at the end of the training year. Tymofiy scored several goals, was very happy, received a medal, awards, and goodies from sponsors.

Such events are very important for our children, for their physical development, ability to control themselves, play in a team, cooperate with each other, which is very important for socialisation in life.

We really miss such classes today and we hope that they will resume and we will meet again.

Achieve.

The most valuable aspects of the project for us are that each child found a place for himself or herself there, each child was accompanied by a volunteer during the classes, we learned to be more patient and gained the ability to concentrate.

This project helped Tymofiy gain confidence in his abilities both on and off the field and off the field.

We are very pleased with the opportunity to participate in the project, we are very grateful to the sponsors and coaches for everything they have done for our children.

Unite.

We met with the project managers and coaches. They were wonderful people who invested all their skills, patience and time in our children.

Tymofiy was very fond of the coaches and was looking forward to going to classes on Sundays.

By practicing regularly with the ball, it helped my child gain more patience, endurance, the ability to listen and hear the elders, and to work in a team.

What’s next?

After these lessons, Tymofiy became more courageous, confident, concentrated and obedient. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in the project.

Thanks to the project and the skills we learned there, we go to soccer with normal children. Very often Tymofiy remembers how cool it was there and wants to go back.

We are looking forward to spring, victory and returning home. As soon as we have the opportunity, we will definitely participate in the project.

I would like to recommend this program to parents of children with disabilities, because it has a great impact on the development.

Thank you for this idea and its implementation. We look forward to seeing you again!
