Maxim’s Story

Maxim always looked forward to the next training session.

My child has ASD and a rare genetic disease. We used to always walk in places where there was no one else, because my son shied away from unfamiliar children and adults. We tried to attend various types of rehabilitation activities as often as possible, to participate in projects where it was possible.

When the opportunity arose for Maxim to participate in the Inclusive Football for Children project, we decided to try it and did not regret it, because these trainings were very important and interesting for Maxim, and he made a lot of changes! He learned to work in a team, no longer shuns others, tries to do all the exercises and tasks correctly. It is difficult for him because he has certain physical disabilities, but despite this, Maxim always looked forward to the next training session and worked with great pleasure in a team with children, coach and volunteers.

He acquires the skills to work in a team and not be afraid of difficulties.

In between training sessions, Maxim made it a rule to go to the stadium in his free time, play the ball, score a goal, and do some exercises. We are very glad that the project has benefited our son, it is important and necessary for him.

We would really like Maxim to be able to participate in the Inclusive Football for Children project again when he returns home, because this project is very important for our children and makes a lot of sense!

I would personally recommend this program to parents who have children with special needs. The children acquire the skills to work in a team, not to be afraid of difficulties, there are certain changes in the physical and psychological state - it's great!
